Things I wanted to see it Meego that Maemo5 doesn't have:

1. Full portrait mode
2. More apps... I don't know about you, but there are still many websites that either don't have mobile version or their mobile sites have limited functionality. Although Maemo5 supports QT apps, probably not many companies would bother packaging their apps for Maemo5.
3. Improved stock PIM apps...
4. Better OVI Map and possibly native Google Map app....
5. Flash10 (nice to have but not essential)

For me I look forward to Meego, because I like Maemo5 and believe Meego will be more mature/polished than M5.
