What are you gonna do when the demands of the applications become too strong? What are we gonna do when 600Mhz is no longer enough? Yes the N900 is an amazing device that I wouldn't want to replace with anything...now. But with 1GHz+ stock and dual-core processors...in a few years (in months even) the N900 will become obsolete. Maemo is not dead, but its days are counted.
