Hello,

I have tried following routes in my home network.

-Rsync whole N900 filesystem over wifi to home backup server (windows share)
-->First backup takes ages as you would expect but then again also concurrent ones take ages also because N900 cpu is doing all the work on checking files-size,dates etc. It looks like it slows down over time. Disabling checksum check doesn´t help..it just takes 1-2s per mp3 file for example.

-Just cp over wifi also takes quite long even when files are already copied. It just compares files too long.

So is there any way of copying files on n900 that it just check "archive bit" and if it has changed only then it starts checking if file is really changed. It would probably make backup copying much much faster. Problem is of course that we have ext3 & fat32 and mounted samba share to cope with :|
