Don't want to get anyones hopes up but I think I am close to getting a little weather image and current conditions text etc to show on the unlock screen. Unfortunately it involves installing some perl libs .... oh and you have to get the weather from CNN so US only right now.

Edit: Success - right now I am just trying to streamline the process and see if perhaps I can come up with a package. Short of that I will post instructions here and a screenshot if I can figure out how to take one of the locking screen.
