You can try to install filebox and set it to be root and then go to the folder where you got the images and try to delete them.
You can also try to type sudo gainroot and then cd to /home/user/MyDocs/.images (or replace .images with DCIM if itīs pictures taken with the camera and remove with the rm command. Use the command ls to see whats in the directory.
