hawaii, I never experienced the aforementioned bug. Although, I use absolutely no widgets what-so-ever - I'm a minimalist like that - so my N900 isn't the best example of hildon-home bugs (at most I ever had widgets up for a few days, and I kept Recaller around for a while, but then eventually said screw it to that too - anything, for me, I have never noticed hildon home chewing through more ram... well, I may have had moments where it chewed CPU, but that was a long time ago, so long that now, months later, I have no idea what that was linked to.

On the other hand, now that I think about it, I haven't used ApMeFo to edit my menu files since before Hrw's version came out. Once I learned how to do it manually with trusty ol' vi, I stuck to that.

So I guess I can only speak for the pre-Hrw's version ApMeFo.
