I'm suspicious there's no desktop image (and even if there was I'd be suspicious that it was courtesy of VNC).
This is just the graphic that appears during boot up or, more crucially, if you try and boot from the install DVD. I'm fairly sure you can get that to appear on ANY computer by booting from the OS X install DVD. You just won't get any further because the kernel will spot that it's not being run on Apple hardware.
From what I read, to build a "Hackintosh", you pretty much have to mirror the typical hardware inside an x86 Mac. As far as I know, they've never used a Celeron processor or a solid state hard disk.
