brainstorm 2358 (Improving the Calendar in n900) solution #21:

Add a feature that allow to send a calendar event, note or todo task by [SMS,] email, bluetooth, irda, etc.
Add a feature that allow to reveive and add a calendar event from [SMS,] email, bluetooth, irda, etc.
Does anyone have ideas, how much work would implementing this be? I know I miss these features a lot.

I don't know how this is done in existing phones, is it with some kind of a vCard variant (like RFC 2739)?

(I hope you'll pardon me if I don't get this right – though the rules say one is supposed to link to a brainstorm in the initial article, nobody actually seems to do it so I can't check to see how it's supposed to be done...)
