Also it OS is 99 % open source...android its not comparable to maemo, android itd an OS for the common people, but with details and suppor for developers, but maemo its fully for developers. you cant compare android and maemo,never.
Fralde, not to not give credit to the N90 hackability, but most people would like to see and use a functioning phone for quite some time as a stable product - not dual boot and triple boot to show off its prowess.

Thats is where the N900 comes out short - as a regular usage device which works and has support and apps.

As a hacking device I agree N900- comes out winners , but hey ...
