I know thickness (or thinness) is a big selling point for phones, but as the screens get larger, I think a little thicker would give a more "sturdy" feel. The thinner you make the bigger screen, the more perceived "flex" there is going to be. As long as the weight is in an acceptable range, I'd rather a tablet (particularly a large non pocket-able one feel a little sturdier (thicker). Otherwise, I'd always be worried about cracking the screen.
