Not sure how QML importing works in windows (since every other OS uses backslashes instead of forward slashes). I may give it a try on windows sometime soon just to see what is up. Also, qmlviewer has a built-in video recording api, and i have figured out how to start recording, i just can't figure out how to keep recording for more than 1 second. Also, your qml app seems way more responsive than mine I wonder if the C++ helps that much.
