after 6 posts, i finally got ur point, actually it is indeed a very useful thing! what u can do is:
click for 3s
than go to create new contact,
select the number,
press Ctrl+C to copy it
go back to phone
press keyboard
and Ctrl+V to paste the number
then edit!
