Yes this may work for images, but don't know how to do it for
video recording. I made some test videos with different recording
time, but the file size doesn't grow linear.

Pausing and resuming works but I get
some warnings on the console:
dsp_thread: failed waiting for events
I don't know where they come from, and the recorded video
is playable.
