Nope, just press Ctrl before you press Fn. With marginal conscious control when getting used to it, it is extremely easy to get to the point where you can without thinking about it thumb either Ctrl+Fn or Fn+Ctrl, depending on what you need in that situation.

I'd rather not have it this way though, because again, it skips over that fact that some of us have the desktop feature of using Ctrl+Fn instead of Ctrl+Shift for all the key combinations.

Speaking of, where does this zoom thing even work? I can't for the life of me figure out where it does anything. Or is it somehow incompatible with the dbus_shortcuts_use_fn gconf flag just like Ctrl+Fn+Shift+L was?

Also, I too agree with moving the rotation control applet into power menu instead of status menu. Power menu is easier to access, certainly, for most people.
