It's never meant to run as root.
Seems like something went wrong with the install....
I recommend uninstalling, check that you have rootsh, expect, gstreamer-tools installed first. Then install the app, but use "sudo dpkg" from a normal shell, and not a root shell.

Other than that, Im not really sure...

Edit: Also, the app 'tester' also appears as "PhoneStreamer" in the app menu, so you might indeed have had tester installed, and not PhoneStreamer
