This is extremely encouraging.

It seems that Samsung could be first to roll out Gingerbread updates to its Galaxy S phones:

Why is this significant? It shows that Samsung is reversing its reputation of being slow or never to update its phones. Many of the Galaxy S phones have been receiving Froyo updates, and it looks as if they'll be getting Gingerbread updates as well!

Samsung looks as if it is changing to meet the demands of the masses.

Could an official Tab 7 port of 3.0 be far behind? I still cling to the speculation that it's on the horizon!
