In one thread, I'm full of hate against Nokia. In another thread, I have sentimental attachment toward Nokia. I guess I'm just dripping with irony. Actually, I'm very certain it's just technical difficulty... let me explain...
You mean like.. say Rockplayer on Android? The one that plays just about every codec and container under the sun? (Mind you, I dislike Rockplayer) Or VLC on iOS devices (mind you, you need to jailbreak at the moment.. but that might not be the case soon) which also plays almost every codec under the sun? Supposedly VLC is being made for Android now too. Doesn't sound like any royalty or licensing issues are tied to the platforms... which makes sense, since VLC and Mplayer also play just about anything on Windows, Mac and Linux. So I'm very confused how royalty or licensing figures into what I perceive to likely be a technical issue as to why the iPhoney in the room didn't play the video. I'd still like to know what kind of stream it is that the game was on.
Oh My God. Shut up. You're soooo wrong AND you assume wrong about what my "argument" was... also, I was asking questions--not making an argument. Hahahahah
