The directory extructure should be:

Thank you again buddy, when I typed on xterm I got lots of texts, I think it went ok, I don't see .gngeo folder because the '.' makes it hidden, right? So, how to edit gngeorc file if I can't see, will try using a windows xp pc and set to show hidden folders and files, btw inside the folder there are bin and share folders, right? I didn't see gngeorc, I copied conf\gngeorc to gngeo folder I created, I think I am doing wrong, but your reply claryfied a bit more
for me, will try on the pc after this. Can I install Filebox or Midnight Comander and try to do it on N900? Using Notes or do I need to install Leafpad? I think I'm getting close. Another thing: I can't start from xterm, using gngeo\bin\ gngeo kof98 for example, but hopefully I have XGngeo installed. And what is the difference between MyDocs and Home\User? I tought it was the same thing. Is it the root folder (home\user) when I plug the N900 on PC? Thank you for your help pcekper.
