Gotcha! 100% agreement.

I'm also a bit disappointed in how they rushed the Xoom and how greedy they were with the pricing. Though there hasn't been an official teardown, I'm betting that there's less than $250 of materials in that thing, and running a free OS.

They're probably using this time before the direct competition (other Android honeycomb tablets) enter the fray to try to rack up as many sales as possible (early adopters) and then lower it when the competition enters the market.

I know that once that Tab hits, I will not even think of the Xoom. I do, however, like the dual 5MP cameras -- I've got a soft spot for 3D, especially so considering that I have two eyeballs.
