@myk usb connectors with filed down teeth requires almost no insertion/extraction force. Actually I tried ONCE using a normal microusb connector (I was using a wall charger from a friend) and the force required to pull it off was quite different!!!
Obviously there's no difference as for leverage force if you bend the connector while inserted...you must pay equal attention.
