ello to the maemo community just gotta say i love the cssu update it does make the n900 phone/tablet frankenstein feel brand spanking new...

If anyone has modified hildon desktop installed PLEASE for the love of linux UNINSTALL it FIRST... btw i only proceeded with install to see if there would be any prior warning about modified hildon desktop being present on the phone...

QUICK FIX if you have screwed up your phone:

first disable "extra testing" "extra devel" and "community ssu testing" from the application manager.

then open terminal and type
sudo gainroot
apt-get update
apt-get remove mp-fremantle-community-pr
apt-get remove status-area-orientationlock-applet or auto remove
apt-get remove modified-hildon-desktop
apt-get purge modified-hildon-desktop
apt-get -f install
apt-get install hildon-desktop
reboot

then just delete "community ssu testing" from the repostory and uninstall cssu enabler... and fellow the wiki http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU to get cssu up and working hope it helps.
