Well I spoke to a lady from Customer Response Team based in the Phillipines I think based on the 632 area code I saw in CallerId. Anyway when i asked her if I can talk to her supervisor, she said she is a supervisor and she cannot transfer me over!
Anyway. I called again yesterday and some guy in TechSupport told me he will assign it to a different person and hopefully my experience would be better! We'll see what happens..
I didn't get any call from any rep as promised. But I also filed a complaint using Better Business Bureau against the Nokia Repair Center and Nokia Corporate in two separate complaints. I got a call this morning from the Phillipines about the complaint with BBB. I explained the whole situation to the lady and she said she will send me a new Nokia N900 and I will have to send the old one over. She apologized for the trouble I went through.. I have to wait for a day before I get the tracking number and should receive the phone with a few days.. We'll see how that pans out..
I'm disappointed that I had to resort to all of this to get them to so something they should have fixed the first time..
