I'm sorry but I don't follow; what exactly did you use to do with the N800 that Android 2.2 won't be able to do? Why do you need to update to 3.0? If you were fine with a four-year old device, why suddenly you need an OS that's barely out?

From what I've read I'd recommend Dell streak or the WiFI Galaxy tab.
