Had some issues myself. After CSSU, the new camera UI had some troubles.

Sometimes it focuses randomly (5 meter focus on a 30 cm range).

Sometimes no focus for no reason (I don't remember the old camera changing brightness while attempting focus - new camera does, it *feels* like it switches to ISO 100 while attempting focus. In lower light, the image it tries to focus on is NOT visible on-screen. Sometimes it's just black. No wonder no focus.)

Last night it completely broke the UI off from the actual camera. The UI was working, but there was no image flowing in. It was all dark, the screen still had "18.3 cm" written on it from last image. Shutter button did nothing half-pressed, took black picture when pressed (no, the lid was not closed). Happened immediately after taking a dark photo.

Also, don't want to be rude, but said this before. A small button on the left for "take shot" (with a blue square) but a 3" diagonal button (the whole image) switches full-screen to windowed, a function little used during shooting. Also, the exposed menu has 3 checkboxes. User should tap screen to take picture like other camera phones and use button to switch settings, not the other way around.

Also, in image preview mode, old camera UI as well as fcamera and other cam apps revert back to shot mode if buttons is half-pressed, hinting the user is ready to shoot again. This one does nothing (requires hand repositioning to click back).

New camera UI is not ready.

Oh, and, since it never exits, it never gets restarted. All errors are yours until reboot or root CLI access.

I've had other issues but since I can't definitively link them to camera-ui I'll keep them to myself.
