I use the new tree view in modest. There is one thing which is a bit ugly:

When modest is started, the whole tree is collapsed (this is ok when there is a big tree - like mine - very happy with the new behavior).

Then a branch can be opened by clicking the node's icon or the node's text. The branch can be closed by clicking the icon only. For consistency it should be opened and closed with the icon only or both, icon and text. But...

On IMAP servers it is possible to store mails in a node itself. When opening the mails in a node the subnotes are not collapsed anymore when returning from the node's mails. So I would prefer to open a branch only by the icon. When the branch was collapsed before it should be collapsed after reading the node's mails.

What do you think?
