Same problem here, have tried different settings but to no avail, really. (like wpa2 mode only). When the connection is also used for streaming video on a laptop, it becomes much worse whilse the network is of good quality and speed. Have set it to 100 mw already, I am somewhat convinced that helped a bit.

I am on the laterst PR1.3, power kernel 42, community SSU.
