I like the look of the light theme, so I've decided to implement it (as an option) for the next release. It's not finished yet, but here's some screenshots:



The menu system is going to be changed slightly, so I'll wait until then before making any changes to button placements.

I like the appearance of those layouts, but I'm not sure they would work quite as well in landscape mode. Also, YouTube thumbnails are in 4:3 aspect ratio, but cropping would not be difficult. My main concern is reducing the vertical space available for displaying comments and related videos (particularly in landscape mode).
