thanks but as i said earlier, its functionality is too limited
try resizing a picture if you don't get what i mean. you're only limited to resize picture in percentage (have to calculate manually if you wish to resize to, say n x n pixels) and cannot ignore aspect ratio

but since the gimp ui itself is too crowded with buttons and other things, you have to make it more small-screen-friendly. or else you'd end up just like how gimp running in easy debian then
but still, can't wait if you successfully port this apps natively to maemo, and with hildonized ui
