Glad to see that you're faring well with the Vibrant. That SAMOLED screen is nice, no? It really has a large impact on the user experience.

Also, (forgive me if you've mentioned this before) are you running Gingerbread? If not, you may consider taking a walk on the wild side and doing a flash (if indeed its available for that model), it's supposed to be quite an improvement over froyo in speed, battery life, and UI considerations. Plus, it has SIP built in(!) if you're interested in trying out some free/low-cost telephony.
