This seems to be the *only* modern (mobile SoC) tablet that has an active digitizer. All of the other ones rely on touch input or 'capacitive' stylii.

The only other tablets that have active digitizers run Win 7 by default and ship with notebook CPUs (ie. 4 hour battery life -- in a rather heavy package 3-4 lbs).

I really applaud HTC for moving on this, though I would like to see more manufacturers follow suit. The Tab 8.9 with pen would be so killer...
