You need to increase the height and width and then the scale as well.

The height and width is the potential size it can occupy, the scale is the actualy size of the background.

If you just in crease the height and width, the background stays the same size. If you just in crease the scale, the background will stay the same size within the same frame and lose its curves.

So incresse them both to your requirement.
