It seems that I'm not the only one that thinks a pen with a slate is a good idea... Check this out:

It has all the trimmings of a modern Android tablet (IPS display, 1280x800, tegra 2, etc, etc), but it also supports an active digitizer.
Best of all? It may include a keyboard dock ala the transformer.
The tablet is a highly competitive $499.
This has the capacity to be a serious contender among nerds and businessmen alike.
I really hope that this is the beginning of a trend. Pen input is useful in situations where the finger falls short. This joins the ranks of the HTC flyer, the Asus MeMo, but with a larger input (an presumably battery life -- thanks to a larger battery), which would be great for those that rely upon the pen stroke.
