Just a warning about PSP and some other screen protectors. The PSP doesn't have a touchscreen, and some of the protectors designed for it are actually quite stiff. That could significantly hinder the performance of the touchscreen. I'd suggest sticking to protectors that are at least designed for touchscreen devices (eg. PDAs). Personally, I don't use a protector... and the wife is OK with that.
