Hi, I want to setup so calledcaptive portal (in my case it is just plain html webpage - need proof of concept) on n900.
I also have router Huawei e586.
As I understand I need to change dns servers in router to ip adress of n900. DHCP will be managed by router.
On n900 I need running dns server that forwards all requests to specific adress (for example webpage on device itself).
I found some howto describing usage of dnsmasq for this scenario.
But when I try to launch it says "failed to create listening socket"

Is it possible to do this with dnsmasq or I need some other solution.

dnsmasq should be enough. note that dnsmasq is always running on N900, so you need to kill it first and run it with your new config
