The MP3s weren't found either until after a reboot. So I figured now the photos would be found, but nope. They are JPGs and not very big. Does progressive or anything matter?

I can't tell if it's the Beta or not, their site only has the Beta link far as I could find, same with Maemo here.

Also I have no experience with Linux so any advice please be aware. Thanks.

You have to select the folders you want in settings by going Media Library, then Media Folders. Choose the folders you want it to check for photos, videos, and music.

I did that, I selected Removable card. They're in /Photos

Hmm. So I removed the photos, put PROGRESSIVE JPGs on, and told it to look in internal memory, and it's there. All this time I thought drive K was the 2 GB SD card, while it's the internal 256 MB Micro-SD. Duh.

Now I gotta fig' out how to stuff on the 2 GB

Anyway it seems you gotta reboot the N800 for Canola to see things, not very handy.

You have to expand the removable card and actually select the directory you want. For some reason it does not look in sub folders.

Also, you can refresh the media library from the settings in the main menu. And also make it so it refreshes whenever Canola is restarted.

Yeah I got that. It was just that my media was on the internal card not removable card
