Hey everyone, long time since I've been on here. Just wondering if there has been any update on flashing N900 with a 64 bit system either Windows 10/11 or Ubuntu etc. My laptop will not load a live CD with any 32 bit operating system.
I've loaded all the pre-requsits for flashing but each time I'm stuck at waiting for suitable USB device so I think it may be a driver issue with libusb only working on 32 bit systems.

I flashed Nokia N810 / N9/00 many times using either Windows 11 or 10. In general, following usually works:

1. Disable driver signature verification.
2. Download & unpack libusb
3. Run bin/inf-wizard.exe inside.
4. Start flashing as usual
5. Click Next and then select Nokia NXxx (Update Mode) from the list shown.
6. Click next, next, save the .inf file & Install
7. Accept any Windows warnings
8. Wait for driver installation to finish
9. Disconnect phone, cancel flashing and repeat flashing.

I think that these phones don't argue with USB 3+.
