I don't think there is a chance of bricking your phone as long as you ONLY play with the easy debian setting but you might muck up easy debian

I was also playing with LMMS under Easy Debian.
I managed to get sound sort of working using pulseaudio backend.
And when I say "sort of", it's because like if I choose an instrument (one of those .ogg ones), sound works.
But then if I try to load one of those demo projects and play it, it becomes sooooooooooooo slow that I can only hear garbage or noises.
