CORRECTION: Bluetooth PAN can also work in OS2008HE.

Go to this page: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/list...velopers/32004 .

Post #2 on that page (from collin at betaversion) has a link for installing the mulliner.org chinook repository. Install it and refresh the application list in Application Manager. The Installable Applications will include an app called bluez-utils-dist. Install that app. Then you can use pand and udhcpc in OS2008HE.

The instructions in post #9 (in this maemo.org thread, not the page linked above) apply to OS2008HE exactly as for OS2006. The only difference is that you can pair to your Windows computer without calling it a phone, if you don't want to.

Incidentally, for those who haven't come across dummy connections before, DEFAULT doesn't really connect anything with anything else. It merely prevents the browser, email etc. from calling for a wifi or dial-up connection when you don't need one.

I really think I need 1st to make my Win7 BT to act up good. i.e. offer such services needed, like DialUpNetworking.

Currently I just don't get the f**** BT soft to work in my Win7.
