For those of you interested in developer documentation but not following the maemo.org mailing lists:


The role of the docmaster
is a thread in maemo-community trying to define how Dave (aka maemo.org docmaster) could work better in his role.

Thanks to that thread we have seen that some things need to be improved in the Maemo documentation process. We knew most of that, but anyway it is being good to try to come up with a holistic approach instead of fixing concrete things here and there.

A first shot at that can be found at this thread in maemo-developers: Publishing developer documentation.

All this discussion is related also to one of the Maemo community goals: Objective:Co-production of official & community documentation

I've got working on the Maemo documentation on my list of "to do's" here in the near future, so this should be quite interesting.
