Guide would be great if you could get Maemo on any of these devices. As much as I feel keyboards are a necessity for any computer, no matter how pocket sized, the reality is what really made the N900 was the OS.
I hate typing on virtual keyboards, but I also hate using operating systems with poor task and resource management, and shoddy web browsers. Putting a keyboard on an Android phone is like putting an expensive steering wheel, and nice racing pedals on a Minivan.
I really hope that OS's like Sailfish and Ubuntu, that seem more ground up designed for an exclusively touch environment get more accessible soon. Longing for a day where I can buy hardware and install the software I want on it, like a desktop PC.
