I have to note here that you should always dpkg debian packages when you are IN debian chroot (either lxterminal in lxde or after typing debbie in maemo xterm)

If you try to install a debian armel package on maemo, maemo will not complain but bad things may happen as it will probably fill up your rootfs. Note that it is possible to run debian binaries directly from maemo if the dependencies are met by manually extracting the package (dpkg -x) to /opt or /home/user (I have successfully been using unison like that)

yes but i dont like it at all , it plays .wav only
and i am not ready to convert 8 gigas of mp3s to .wav
actually they will eat 16 giga as .wav is larger than .mp3
but thanks anyway

@qwazix

if you just want to play two files simultaneously (without crossfading),
gstreamer is your friend:

gst-launch-0.10 adder name=mix ! audioconvert ! autoaudiosink filesrc location=FILE1.mp3 ! decodebin2 ! audioconvert ! mix. filesrc location=FILE2.mp3 ! decodebin2 ! audioconvert ! mix.

@nicolai
thanks man
i think its now possible to make a GUI for this
as there's no need for playing 2 files without a cross fading
No one will just play 2 files at the same time to make some noise
thanks anyway
