I am glad you got through the set up process for turbo.

Cloning is a bit more involved ...but console tools makes the process easy.
(If you ever decide to clone to sd...you will have to reflash to a clean diablo onboard first...It is not suggested to use console tools to clone a modified version of diablo or a version with programs installed....so follow the walkthrough.)

Just curious: why you posted in this thread where I haven't wrote anything and why after I had thanked you in pm for your instructions and that I made it at last?

I posted in this thread to draw you here so installation issues you had could be dealt with ...HERE...and not scattered in 10 different non related threads
(although now it is just as redundant....and consequently I will be cleaning up my scattered posted responses elsewhere to reduce the clutter)

And here where others who may have the same issues eventually ..would actually be looking to find information which could help them.

As well ...thanking me for instructions is all well and good...
but it wasn't until just a few minutes ago that you posted you got diablo turbo installed . So until then...I had no idea where you were at in any of the process.

you haven't yet gone and cloned and installed diablo on your external sd slot and upgraded to turbo ...there...correct?

So my laast pm from yesterday didn't reach you? That explains. Yes, I got the turbo installed. I followed your instructions but made these mistakes. I formatted sdcard before I had downloaed the console tools in pc. For some reason I didn't use usb to transfer that folder but the sdcard. And then because the sdcard was not anymore in fully formatted stage I couldn't first clone to it. But formatting the sdcard again did the trick.

Next problem was that after I had cloned ot the external sdcard and I connected the N810 with usb to transfer the dt folder with all the diablo stuff in it the computer said can't use usb cause sdcard is in use. And it didn't show the external sdcard in windows. But the solutions was that windows showed the intergrated card in N810 and I could transfer the file to that location, then disconnected usb, then moved the dt folder to the external sdcard in N810 and then could follow the instructions to install diablo turbo.

Only thing I wondered was that in diablo instructios it says 'expect sysinit error' and then there is instruction how to fix it. I didin't get any error. Good or bad?

You got diablo installed on the onboard internal system and upgraded it to turbo?
OR
You got diablo installed on the onboard system..
then cloned it onto your sd card ...
then you have upgraded to turbo on the card ...
and you are booting now from the card?

Please answer the question.

As far as the "expect sysinit error" .... ...which was dealt with ...that mention was not updated in that individuals thread....don't fret that.

Sorry. I followed your instructions, so I first flashed, then cloned to sdcard , then updated asui and cssu, then installed turbo and all that to the sdcard. So when I used a cloned system from sdcard and connected to pc it did not show the external card at all, said can't use the usb (but I could) and showed the intergrated card of N810 as a sdcard instead.

Ah...good.
And yes expect that concerning hooking up your n810 to your pc while running turbo from the card.
It is due to being "in use"
You should be able to transfer files via wifi, bluetooth ...even take the sd card out of the n810 (only when shut down) and in a linux pc transfer files to the partition which has folders for the file system (ie: documents, downloads, etc)

There are a few downsides to running off the n810 sd card
such as your attempt to transfer to the running system off the card.
And being a bit more frugal with sd card space if one wished to have multiple os's on the same card....
compared to say the n800 (which with the internal sd card slot allows for much more play concerning multiple os's and no problem transferring to the external card slot ...as long as the usage of it is for storage.)

Just have to be frugal with the space you have if you wish to experiment with multi booting...to allow enough space for other os's.

There are also other options for various operating systems that don't need such usage.
But you will discover them.
