You must contact to Andy and he will tell what to do.
My package wont work on your devices, because is personally-signed..

I also bought fmradio. Used it on mine Nokia n9((which was stolen), and now I have it installed on mine brother's n9 (he gaved it to me). I am not using this n9, because it's in very broken state and will probably need reflash.
And I never heard it's IMEI related, but more related to Nokia Account and you can obey it by changing apt-get policy (otherwise it will crash after !30 seconds)

Whaat! Is there a method to work around the trial limit?

I've lost my purchased permissions since my old n9 broke, but would like to use this app now on a new one.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread.

It is advertised as free since 2012. So if there is still a limit you could remove it from source code.
Edit: oh I recognized there are two different versions sorry

Ok. I found a replacement - fmradioN9(fmradion9_1.3.0_armel.deb). Not as good, but works.

fmradio_1.1.4_unsigned_unlocked_armel.debfmradio_1.1.4_unsigned_unlocked_armel.deb - yesterday (2020-07-31) compilation by Andrey Kozhanov with IMEI check removed (Hoooraay, now this great app is free for everybody!).

Tried to upload it there, but it exceeds size limit for debs. Uploaded in on OpenRepos, but it f*** up filenames[two identical now], so download 1st file, or click on link above :/

Because it's Unsigned, it needs developer mode (and possibly OpenMode [not sure, please correct me]). Tested by me on Nokia N9 with PR1.3, worked for two hours without shutting down (when installed outside of OVI store, it normally shuts down after five minutes)

If you got problem installing or running this unsigned compilation, then try running signed(trial, works for few minutes, then app closes) ones. They has been dumped from OVI Store, and if they don't work, it means it's problem with your software(I've got PR1.3) or hardware(try connecting headphones[which acts as antenna] to get better reception).
fmradio_1.1.4_signed_imei_drm_armel.deb
fmradio_1.1.3_signed_imei_drm_armel.deb

Credit to you for perseverance, just needs Coderus aegis-hack installed:
Code:
~ # cd /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads
/home/user/MyDocs/Downloads # aegis-dpkg -i fmradio_1.1.4_armel.deb
Selecting previously deselected package fmradio.
(Reading database ... 55105 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking fmradio (from fmradio_1.1.4_armel.deb) ...
aegis-installing fmradio (from 'com.nokia.maemo')
Setting up fmradio (1.1.4) ...
Processing triggers for hicolor-icon-theme ...
Processing triggers for desktop-file-utils ...
