(Preface: I searched... I always search... look at my sig!)

Is it known problem with the N810/Diablo that bluetooth is scratchy / fuzzy / poppy?

I got the Nokia BH-102, and it seems to work adequately. People on the other end of SIP calls say they can hear me just fine. However, everything seems just a little noisy in my ear.

I don't have the beeping problem discussed in this thread. Rather, its just a low "crackle" if you will, but it's kind of annoying. It occurs in all aspects of use.

I thought it might have been the headset, until I paired it with my i605, and it sounds absolutely PERFECT. If I could only get that quality with my NIT, I would be one happy camper.

Thx~jay

I've had a similar experience in the past. In my case it turned out I was using the simple headset profile instead of the a2dp one. Once I got it sorted the sound was clear.

I'm trying to only use the normal headset profile. My headset is not stereo.

Can the A2DP profile be used for a regular mono headset?

It depends upon the headset. In your case, it cannot.

That's what I figured.
