Is the code that runs the garage and autobuilder code available and is it FOSS?
I was thinking if Pine64 hosted a clone of these tools alongside their forums(visit here https://forum.pine64.org ) it would be a way to encourage and streamline more dev work at Pinephone and obviously that benefits us here too, even N900 users running PostmarketOS get a win from easier dev work for the OSs supported by Nokia Linux devices.
Let us not forget that I want my dark and simple Maemo interface back which I hope happens from a merge with latest Mobian and Maemo-Leste and the arrival of the pinephone keyboard.

I can almost bet none of these projects will want to work with anything like midgard. They use Gitlab CI, etc., and Maemo Leste uses Jenkins.

Will not happen, I think. If you want Hildon, then support (and contribute to) Maemo Leste.

I have responsibilities with some Pine hardware development so I pretty much have to use one of the more developed OSs for that(currently Mobian but postmarket/alpine before that), I would love to be able to SD boot into Leste though.
I am actually still using a N900 for daily needs.
Is there a bootable image available or do we still need to install u-boot?
I check the Leste every few months.

Yeah, Mobian is a really nice project. In some ways (some won't agree with me) ... I feel it's a spiritual successor to Maemo Fremantle (debian base, gtk)

You did not specify which particular Pine hardware ... if you mean Pinephone, yes Leste supports it,

If it's some other Pine thing (I am not too familiar with them), I'm sure the team will be happy to support it as far as possible.

I'd say - hop onto irc.libera.chat/#maemo-leste if you're able, or use the mailing list, https://lists.dyne.org/lurker/list/maemo-leste.en.html

Yes, you will still need u-boot (that is the bootloader, to enable you to boot Leste or any other OS)
