As I am phasing out one of my Sailfish phones, I am curious if I couldn't continue to use the AlienDalvik on a PC (or some device with an ARM architecture like a RPi).
Has anyone accomplished running this and has some hints?
Does the host system's kernel have to have particular features that would not typically be available (like binderfs)?
Looking around on the phone I found /opt/alien, /tmp/appsupport, /usr/libexec/appsupport, /usr/libexec/apkd and maybe other things that may be related.
EDIT: If this is better fitted in SailfishOS, please feel free to move the topic.

Reason: Realized this might be better fitted in the SailfishOS-Section
