Not sure if this is really the right place for me to be posting, if not, I appologise but...
Can someone explain to me why my Ubuntu installation is 2.5GB and the Maemo SDK installation takes the installation to 7.5GB, approximately 5GB more...
It seems like an awfully large installation for something that I would have assumed would be fairly compact...
Also, does the Maemo SDK GUI installer install many unnecessary packages/files?
All I'm really interested in doing is using QT Creator (already installed on Ubuntu) to create some test applications, and then using the scratchbox/sdk to compile and run the test applications...
It seemed like a load of Python related files were installed and I'm not really sure if they needed to be?
Any help/opinions are greatly appreciated!
