Anyone using a paid VPN service that's working well with Sailfish?

Well, its not a 'recommedation' in terms of me using it (I run my own VPN server).

However, BolehVPN guys have been working directly with me, in order to ensure that my build of OpenVPN is working with their services specifically for SailfishOS. (They are supporting Tunnelblick's xorpatch, which allows for bypassing certain countries blocking of VPN, which my build includes, as opposed to the 'native' Jolla build).

My version of OpenVPN: https://build.merproject.org/package...ielsen/openvpn

If it is a standard openVPN server provider it should work flawlessly. Been using it with my own openVPN server and never had issues.

*Should. But we all know Sailfish has its issues.

I have not run into issues with standard openvpn server. I use it for work regularly.

Isnt Sailfish vpn a standard openvpn client frontend? Then the issues equal those of standard openvpn.

Over on the Purism Librem thread there was a mention of Purist VPN. I have no idea of how well it works with Sailfish OS, but if you want a provider that takes privacy really seriously it might be worth a look.
