Hi Folks,

Still on my daily N900,
Still looking for an alternative with some privacy respect,
Still not decided of what compromise I shall do...

But in the meantime, I make some room.
Do you remember the Openmoko Neo Freerunner?

I had some of them too, but finally never used them as daily, as I was still waiting for... leste

Cheers!

Edit:
Must not be too hard to find but it is here, starting at 1€:

I was seriously tempted, but a 34€ postage pushes it a bit put of my reach

Hi Pichlo,

Isn't UK near Australia?
Seriously, Ebay thinks UK is more km far since brexit?
I just ticked Europe for the lower rate. UK isn't included.
Younger, I went to UK like I would go to any neighbour country. I believe I won't get used to those new rules....

Anyway, here is it corrected now. If you don't agree with the new prices, write a letter to Monsieur le Directeur des Postes.

Cheers

I am curious did you ever get your 'moko into a usable configuration?
Mine(gta2) was pretty useful as a GPS, but would often wake too slowly and calls would roll over without ever ringing.
Still it was the gap filler between my Sharp Zaurus and my N900 even if it was never fully an everyday driver phone.

I don't exactly remember but I guess that if it would have been my daily phone, it wouldn't look so new!
I remember using GPS+maps with pleasure though.

@Pichlo: no answer.... I hope you didn't take it as rude words, I was just joking about ebay and general world changes that don't coincide with life experience.

Sorry, I wasn't online most of the weekend. I don't come here as often as I used to.

Yes, the UK has set sails away from Europe. Where exactly, nobody knows. Antarctica, maybe. Or Mars.

I am still tempted, but cannot promise anything. I will probably end up bidding but not very high. I am low on funds due to a hobby project I am currently obsessed with

Auction ending in 21 hours. Almost no bidders
I know why the price didn't rise up to the sky: I forgot to put the keyword "Smartphone"!
