I spent the day with the N800. I was concerned that in my small town there wouldn't be enough available "hot spots" to make this effective. I went to a local strip mall and Starbucks had it as well as Staples. I used Staples to check my e-mail. While downtown the local police have wi-fi that is made available to the public. I got a Skype call from a UK friend in Iceland. So cool. I had wait until I got home to see the vid-cam of the area on my laptop Skype.

Later in the afternoon I returned a client's e-mail explaining that I was mobile and would be back in a half hour. All this without a laptop. Just what I've been looking for.

And, right now I'm using the N800 as an MP3 player for my tunes. I didn't have one...well a Sandisk 512MB that I use to listen to podcasts while doing yard work.

I got my Pelican PSP case today so I feel safer about taking it out. Next I'll probably get a screen cover. And, hopefully, with the new software the many features will only get better and more numerous.

Thanks to this forum for guiding me through the last couple of days with great tips.

If you have a BT phone, pair them together, then you can browse the internet everywhere your phone has the siginal, no matter you are at the beaches, or swimming pools, or parking lots, etc. I did it, and I love it, with my 770.
